The Course Calendar Wrap outlines alternative ways to earn credits, pathways within and beyond high school, and gives an explanation of myBlueprint. It is a source of valuable information to explore.
DDPS and APS Grade 8 students will receive a WESS course calendar January 12 & 13th 2021 and will complete course selection on January 20th. Grade 8 Parent Information Night will be virtual this year and will be held on Tuesday January 19th 2021 from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm. A link will be posted on the schools website before that time.
Guidance will discuss 2021-2022 course offerings with WESS students. The Course Selection calendar is available below and a limited number of paper copies will be available. A document outlining courses for students entering Grade 10 and those entering Grade 11 and 12 is below.
Students will select courses using myBlueprint. Students are encouraged to make course selections wisely as it will be extremely difficult to make timetable changes in September. When choosing courses, consider career and pathway choices after high school. Consult college and university calendars to ensure that you are taking necessary high school prerequisite courses to get to your post-secondary destination.
